Jacob Ratliff

JACOB RATLIFF is the assistant band director at Hutchinson Middle School, running the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Jazz band, and all beginning woodwind classes. Originally from Austin, Texas, Mr. Ratliff attended Texas Tech University where he had the opportunity to perform as an oboist at the Texas Music Educators Association Clinic/Convention as well as participate in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. 

Mr. Ratliff graduated with his degree in music education in December 2025 and joined the Hutch band program in January of 2026. In his free time, he likes to stay involved at his church, hang out with his cat Dipstick (Dippie), test drive cars, and take laps around the loop.
